The legend

From the Latin legenda, which must be read.

Legends are based on supposedly true stories, probably true events. These are stories of a marvelous nature where historical facts are transformed by popular imagination, passed from mouth to mouth, from storyteller to troubadour, or by poetic invention, for different purposes (aesthetic, folkloric, political, etc.) .

The tale

Tales appear as the mirror of man: they reveal his faults and his hatreds, but also the strength of his ideals. The Sages among our ancestors have long observed the major stages of a human being's life. We were far, at that distant time, from the psychological considerations of our time. To explain these difficult to define emotions, stories have been created, symbolizing life changes and their consequences...
